We feel strongly that the engagement session is a really important time to get to know each other. During this hour or two, Susan teaches and guides you through the basics. How to ease into natural poses, to be playful and loving. The whole idea is to feel relaxed and authentic in front of the camera & each other. We approach the engagement portraits with fresh eyes – pushing our vision and ideas a little further. We want to respect who you are as a couple and not who we think you should be.
You both will feel relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera. The result is beautiful, natural moments filled with love and authenticity. These are the memories that you will go back to again & again, remembering exactly how you felt about each other…. xox

Our artful style and relaxed demeanor focus on classic, candid and joyful imagery. We take care to understand where you most want to be photographed, a place you both connect with; perhaps a park you love to visit, or a cityscape that suits your style, or a sea side where you spend your summers. We review your wardrobe, and make sure hues and style reflect who you are. Many couples feel it is important to bring along their furry friend to complete the family.
